Wedding Packages

Camp Aquila is a beautiful Earth styled venue that can accommodate up to 100 guests in the banquet hall. We offer an outdoor wedding ceremony set in breathtaking mountain scenery, surrounding by a lovely garden with big shaded trees.

Option C: Only CEREMONY in the Garden and Photos . Excluding Reception

Wedding and Function terms and conditions:

  • The Banquet hall has a maximum capacity for 100 guests. Extra guests will be charge accordingly
  • Rates includes VAT
  • a Surcharge as per Quote will apply for RECEPTIONS & CATERING to be held in a Garden Set-up.
  • Children 0-6 years FREE of charge at Venue. All children 7 and above will count as guests at table settings.
  • Discount offer on the accommodation applies to confirmed numbers of 20 guests and above for two nights.
  • BREAKFAST can be arrange for groups
  • No hire on Mondays

Venue rate including the following:

  • Venue hall and landscaped garden areas and features
  • Sound system, podium and microphone facility
  •  Banquet type chairs 100; plus plastic chairs for ceremony outside 120 (depend on package type)
  • Chair covers (cream or white)  100 Inside hall, 100 outside in garden
  • Long tables – 6 available; 10 Round tables OR 10 WOODEN lables (exta lenght 2400mm)
  • Standard -Table set up including cutlery, crockery and glassware (standard)
  • Bridal Chairs (Chairs and signing table in the hall or outside)
  • Plastic Chairs in garden for outside ceremony 
  • White or cream tablecloths /Hessian type tablecloths for extra lenght tables
  • White or cream cloth NAPKINS
  • Exclusivity of the venue on your special day
  • Administration and Co-ordination from beginning to end on standard package
  • Staff included that will clean and serve rooms and Venue area for the period of your stay.
  • A beautifully decorated Honeymoon suite for the evening of your wedding including sparkling wine and gift basket * only with Full Venue option

Venue rate excluding the following:

  • All beverages-  Bar facility available.
  • All Catering , welcome drinks and snacks
  • Guest accommodation
  • Data Projector  -R800 extra
  • Table decorations, floral, entertainment and photographer specialists
  • Extra chairs and tables needed
  • Refundable breakage deposit
  • “Nanny” service
  • Coloured table linen & napkins (other than standard white or cream excluded)
  • Gazebo or tent facilities, red carpet.
  • Under plates, overlays, sashes and any other décor items
  • Table numbers and name cards
  • Reverend or minister
  • A room can be arranging for the bride-to-be for the Friday evening, as well as to get ready in at a lodge nearby.

Guest Accommodation:

We offer accommodation up to 50 guests.  *See accommodation section.

Rooms are decorated in a warm earth styled feeling.

Appointments Requirements:

Please note: In order to enable us to make your function a true success, final arrangements needs to be done two weeks prior to function.

  • Two weeks prior to function: we need to have a meeting to finalize number of guests and all other details.

Bookings and Payments:

  • On confirmation we require a SECURITY deposit , as well as a signed contract to secure and confirm the venue.
  • The quotation is valid for 14 days.
  • In the event that the deposit is not paid within the time stipulated, we will cancel your booking without further notice.
  • The full balance of the payment is payable seven (7) days prior to function or event date.

Cancelation Fees:

The deposit  is non-refundable if booking is cancelled  4 weeks prior to function (under all circumstances). Cancellations must be made in writing at least 4 weeks before arrival. R800 handling fee will be paid for cancellations prior to 4 weeks. * ask for full Terms and conditions on email

Liability:

Camp Aquila cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or illness that may occur during your stay or function. Any expenses incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the client.

The client will be held responsible for any damages to any buildings, surrounding gardens, décor items or any equipment and will be billed accordingly.
